Biomedical Engineering
Biomedical Engineering (Bioelectric) is a junction between the electrical engineering and Medicine and Biology. It deals with understanding and modeling of electrical phenomena occurring in living systems to develop bio-inspired methods and artificial systems. It also deals with extension of electrical engineering concepts and methods to develop equipment and software that solve specific problems related to living systems. Department of bio-electric has 9 faculty members and 2 research labs, in which our graduate program MSc degree offers a focus on cutting-edge research that prepares graduates to work as a member of clinical research and education centers or hospitals.
